Seaside

On our way home from the wedding we thought we would venture over to the Oregon Coast. We first took the kids to ride the carousel and bumper cars. Both Alex and Cole enjoyed the carousel. The bumper cars were a bit of another story. Alex had a blast! Cole was excited in the beginning but soon changed his mind. He sat stone cold right next to me so scared. Poor guy. I tried to go to the outside to avoid getting hit but we still got blasted. He put on a fake smile afterwards and said it was fun but deep down the little guy was scared.
Next we headed to the beach. There is just something about the beach. It's a magical place to be next to the Pacific Ocean. Listening to the waves, feeling the water rush over your feet and legs. It's a peaceful place. The boys had a blast running around and playing. We didn't have much for beach toys so the boys made due with some sea kelp they found on the beach. They thought they were Indiana Jones! It was fun to watch Greyson experience the beach for the first time. He kept stopping and touching the sand between his toes. He wasn't quite sure what it was! His face was priceless when we walked him up to the water and the waves washed over his feet. Super cute! All in all, it was a great day. We enjoyed it so much we can't wait to go back. Thanks to Papa and Gramma for coming along. It was fun to have you there!
